About the studio

Who is behind ThatDevPro?+

Joseph W. Anady, a service disabled veteran and founder of a SDVOSB certified web and AI engineering studio based in Cassville, Missouri. The studio operates on owned infrastructure and runs a parallel brand at thatdeveloperguy.com.

Where is the studio based?+

Cassville, Missouri. The studio works remotely with clients in Missouri, Arkansas, Texas, Florida, Virginia, California, and federal contracting clients anywhere in the United States.

How long has the studio been operating?+

Since 2020. Over one hundred thirty live client sites hosted on the studio infrastructure and a growing federal contracting practice.

Builds and websites

How long does a website build take?+

Custom websites in seven to ten business days. Full Digital Presence in two to three weeks. Enterprise on a discovery first timeline.

Do you use WordPress?+

Rarely. Default stack is hand coded static HTML or Next.js with static export. WordPress is offered only when a content team specifically needs it.

Do I own the code?+

Completely. On delivery you receive full code, deployment scripts, and the Nginx config. No vendor lock in.

Visibility and SEO

Why is the Full Visibility Stack the recommended monthly?+

Because it covers all four pillars of modern visibility. SEO alone is not enough in 2026. AEO, AIO, and GEO are non negotiable. Bundling them keeps the strategy coherent.

What is AI Overview monitoring?+

Tracking when your content gets cited inside Google AI Overview, ChatGPT search, Claude search, Gemini, and Perplexity. We use citation patterns to refine your entity graph and content strategy.

How is this different from a traditional SEO retainer?+

Traditional SEO retainers chase backlinks and rankings. We engineer for citation density. Sixty percent of searches end without a click, so citation count matters more than rank alone.

Engine Optimization

Why fourteen tiers?+

Because visibility is a stack, not a checklist. Each tier represents a distinct discipline with its own ROI curve. You install only what you need.

Where did tier thirteen go?+

Retired from the program. Its functions were folded into Tier four and Tier six. Active tiers are T1 through T12 and T14.

Can I start with one tier?+

Yes. Most clients start with Tier one Foundation. The natural sequence after that is Tier two and Tier three.

AI engineering

Do you use OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, or open models?+

Whatever fits the workload. ChatGPT and Claude for general reasoning. Llama, Qwen, and Mistral on owned hardware when data privacy or per query cost matter. Fine tuned models for domain specific work.

What is MEGAMIND?+

The studio internal AI research project. A federated system running on Apple Silicon nodes that handles sensitive workloads without sending data to API providers. Public-facing index at feedthejoe.com.

Federal contracting

What is SDVOSB?+

Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business. A federal certification reserved for businesses at least fifty one percent owned, controlled, and operated by a service disabled veteran. Eligible for set aside and sole source contracts.

Are you SAM.gov registered?+

Yes. Active SAM.gov registration. Capability statement available on request.

Pricing and billing

Why do all your prices end in seven?+

Brand pricing discipline. Every price ends in seven so the catalog reads as one program rather than arbitrary numbers.

What payment methods do you accept?+

Square invoicing for all client work. We do not accept Zelle, CashApp, or Venmo. Federal contracting follows standard prime contract terms.

Are there hidden costs?+

No. Hosting is included in monthly plans. Domain registration if needed is passed through at cost. Third party service costs are quoted up front.
